Safety and community rules

Amorify is a place for adults to meet with respect. These rules apply to everyone, and the tools below are there for you whenever something feels wrong.

18+ only

We ask for your date of birth at sign-up and refuse anyone under 18. It can't be changed later.

One person, one account

Your profile describes you and uses photos of you. Fake profiles are removed.

Photos are checked

Every photo is checked when it is uploaded. When the system isn't sure, a moderator looks at it.

Community rules

Breaking them can mean removed content, a 7 or 30 day suspension, or a permanently closed account.

  • No fake profiles, impersonation, or photos that aren't of you.
  • No nudity or sexual content, and never any content involving a minor.
  • No harassment, threats, bullying or stalking, and no hateful or discriminatory content.
  • No scams, requests for money or financial details, or promotion of products, services or other platforms.
  • No sharing someone else's private information without their consent.
  • No bots, scrapers, commercial use, or attempts to get around limits and paid features.

Tools in the app

Block

From any profile or chat. It ends any match and hides you from each other.

Report

Pick a reason and send. Reporting also blocks the person, and your report stays confidential.

Unmatch

Ends the chat for both of you. You won't see each other again.

Delete a message request

Not interested in a message from before a match? Delete it; the sender is not told.

Hide your online status

Settings → Show my online status. Others won't see when you were active.

Preview my profile

See exactly what others see before you share anything else.

How we review reports

A small team of authorised Amorify staff, signed in with two-factor authentication, reviews every report. They see the reported profile and its photos, and the recent messages between the two people involved. Nothing else. Every look is logged.

We don't run criminal background checks or verify identities, so the tips on the right matter.

Before you meet

  • Meet in a public place.
  • Tell a friend where you're going and when.
  • Never send money or financial details.
  • Trust your instincts. You can leave at any time.

If someone is in danger, call 911.
